BALLOT CLERKS NEEDED: Volunteer to work as a ballot clerk at our elections. It takes many people to check voters in and help provide a pleasant and efficient voter experience at the polls - will you join us? Training is held at the town offices before each election date. Ballot clerks work one of three 4-hour shifts. Choose the shift that works best for your schedule! Our next elections are February 11 (Presidential Primary) and March 10 (Town).
SUPERVISOR OF THE CHECKLIST OPEN SEAT: Are you a civic-minded, energetic, detail-oriented person? We encourage you to run for this elected position, and join our team of 3. Supervisors maintain all voting records for the town, register new voters, oversee election interaction with voters, and maintain our very important New Ipswich voter checklist. The State of New Hampshire provides excellent training and support for this rewarding job. File to run at the Town Clerk's Office between January 22 and January 31.

New Ipswich Police Part-time Animal Control Position
Job Duties: Respond to calls concerning found domestic animals. Talk with animal owners who are seeking missing animals and interview those who have witnessed any animal wrongdoing. They may arrange shelter for unclaimed animals. Investigate claims of animal cruelty or attack. Animal control workers care for animals in their custody, providing food, shelter, water and a clean environment. They may arrange for the veterinary treatment of any animals in need of medical attention. This position falls under the Police Department and reports to the Police Chief. Pay rate: $15/hr. No set hours, this is an on-call basis. Successful candidate must pass Criminal and Motor Vehicle background checks. Residency preferred but will consider bordering towns.
