Zoning Board of Adjustment

The Zoning Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body which hears and decides four types of zoning adjustment applications: Variances, Special Exceptions, Appeals from Administrative Decisions, and Equitable Waivers of Dimensional Requirements.  New Hampshire's planning enabling legislation, Revised Statutes Annotated (RSA) 672-677, and the New Ipswich Zoning Ordinance provide the legal basis for the Board of Adjustment's work.
