April is Amnesty Month

Town Notice
HWY Sign

Hey there, road rebels, and sign snatchers!

This is your once in a lifetime opportunity to come clean. April is Amnesty Month!

That’s right, mark your calendars and listen up because it’s time to return those “borrowed” signs to their rightful place, no questions asked, no penalties, no fines, no repercussions. It’s your chance to make things right without the fear of getting caught red-handed!

Have you found yourself driving down the road, only to be greeted by a missing stop sign or a mysteriously absent speed limit sign? Or perhaps you’ve stumbled upon a “Road Closed” sign that seemed to find its way into your garage after a particularly wild night out? Maybe you have a “One Way” sign for your man cave décor or snagged a “No Parking” sign for your impromptu parking lot, fear not, because now is the perfect one-time opportunity to repent for your mischievous deeds and return those signs to where they belong!

We won’t ask why you took them. We won’t inquire about where they’ve been. We won’t even bat an eyelash. This is a judgement free zone, folks! Gather up those liberated signs, dust off the cobwebs, and return them to the New Ipswich Highway Department. Let’s restore order to our streets, one sign at a time.

Remember this is your ONLY chance. Whether you’re a seasoned swiper or a first-time offender, take advantage of Amnesty Month and do your part to keep our roads safe and properly marked.

All signs can be brought to the Highway Department, 661 Turnpike Road and left under the “HWY OFFICE” sign. No need for formalities, we will know what to do.
